Details of how to adopt a puppy:

1. Contact us via calling/texting at (253) 293-5836 to go over details. 

2. Fill out the puppy contract document pdf posted above and email it to us at goldensofhope@gmail.com. 

3. To reserve a puppy you will need to pay a nonrefundable deposit of $500 (please contact us to discuss payment options).  

   • I will keep you informed and up to date on your puppy's growth and training.

   • You will receive pictures and videos on a weekly basis. 

   • At around 5-6 weeks of age, you will be able to visit our home and I will choose a puppy for you that will fit your needs based on temperament testing*

4. At 8 weeks you'll be able to pick up your puppy and pay the remaining fee.

   • You will get a copy of all their papers (limited AKC registration,  vet exams, vaccines).

   • You will also receive a puppy starter kit!

*Temperament Testing 

1. No unprovoked aggression

2. Not hand shy (submissiveness is ok!)

3. No panic without reasonable recovery

4. Motivated to work and please

5. Intelligent / high trainability 

6. Accepts handling from strangers

7. Exhibits self-control and focus

8. Solid nerve strength

9. Good confidence

10. Eye contact is a plus!
